Watching and the right-click menu
Watching
- Drop a file onto the window or use Open file. Files that are still downloading play too; a grey bar shows how much has arrived.
- Hover over the seek bar to see a preview of that moment.
- Speed from 0.25x to 3x (pitch preserved), with [ ] or the right-click menu. Hold-for-2x is on the phone (the app's video screen and the phone remote).

- A-B repeat, Bookmarks (add and list), Picture adjustment (brightness, contrast, saturation, gamma, hue, 90° rotation, flips)
- File info (codec, resolution, bitrate), Screenshot (Pictures › RDVGO), Small window, always on top
- Network play - web address (http, https, rtsp), Watch together link
Closing the window keeps the program running in the system tray (so your phone stays connected). To quit, right-click the tray icon → Quit.
Control from your phone
When your laptop or PC is connected to a TV, a phone on the same Wi-Fi can control the PC player like a remote (free). Nothing to turn on on the PC.
- When a video plays on the PC, the phone app shows a "Playing on PC" bar; tap it to open the remote.
- In the phone app, long-press a video and choose "Play on PC (TV)" to start it on the PC.
- To turn this off, use PC Settings → Allow phone remote.

PC troubleshooting
My phone can't find the PC.
Check that the PC program is running (tray icon) and that the phone is on the same Wi-Fi. The easiest fix is PC Settings → Re-allow firewall. See Connection troubleshooting.
I closed the window but the phone is still connected.
Closing the window keeps the program in the system tray so your phone stays connected. To quit completely, right-click the tray icon → Quit.
Windows shows "Windows protected your PC" when installing.
This appears for new programs. Click More info, then Run anyway.
