RdvGoDelete your RDVGO Player account and data
For information that applies to every RdvGo app, see Delete your account and data.
Your RDVGO Player account is your rdvgo.com account. Deleting it removes the information below from rdvgo.com. Your video, comic and book files on your PC and phone are never stored on our servers, so they are not deleted.
Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the RDVGO Player app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab and tap your account (email address) at the top.
- Tap Delete account, read the notice and tap Delete.
The account is deleted right away and you are signed out of the app. The PC program is signed out the next time it connects.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
- Email [email protected] with the subject "Account deletion request (RDVGO Player)".
- Send it from the email address you sign in with (for Google sign-in, that Google account's address).
- If we can't find an account for that address, we'll reply to confirm you own it. We will never ask for your password.
- We complete the deletion within 30 days of your request (usually much sooner) and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Account: email address, display name, password hash, Google sign-in link, profile
- Registered devices and push notification tokens
- Synced continue-watching and watch status, and your watch-sync consent records
- Your reviews, posts, comments and reactions; club and meet-up participation and related records; reports and block lists
- Watch together and folder share registrations, bookmarks
- Plan (Premium, Platinum) grants, order records, AI subtitle usage records
What is kept, and for how long
- Deletion takes effect immediately. Copies in server backups are removed as the backups rotate.
- Payment event records (amount, date, payment processor transaction ID) may be kept with the link to your account removed, for accounting and dispute handling, for as long as the law requires.
- Our payment processor (Stripe) keeps its own transaction records under its privacy policy.
An active Platinum subscription is cancelled immediately when you delete your account. If the cancellation fails, the account is not deleted and the app tells you. For a refund of the period you already paid for, write to [email protected] (full refund within 14 days of purchase).
What stays on your devices
- Videos saved for offline viewing and app settings stay on your phone; uninstalling the app removes them.
- The PC program's library, settings and any subtitle files made with AI subtitles (.ai.srt) stay on your PC.
