Delete your K Fortune Teller account
This page explains how to delete your K Fortune Teller account and the data linked to it. K Fortune Teller (Android package com.kfortuneteller.app) is published by Storetag Corp. You can do it inside the app in a few taps, or, if you no longer have the app, by sending us an email.
Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open K Fortune Teller and sign in.
- Go to the Me tab.
- Tap Delete account and confirm. Email accounts may be asked for the password once; Google and Apple accounts may be asked to sign in again.
Your account is disabled immediately and you are signed out on that device.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Account deletion request".
- Send it from the email address you use to sign in (for Google or Apple sign-in, the address of that account; for "Hide my email", the relay address shown in your Apple ID settings), and mention K Fortune Teller in the message.
- If we cannot match the request to an account from the sending address, we will reply asking you to confirm ownership. We never ask for your password.
- We confirm by email once the deletion is done, within 30 days of your request (usually much sooner).
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, user ID, and sign-in record (Firebase Authentication).
- Your birth details: name or nickname, date, time and place of birth (city, coordinates, time zone), and gender if you gave it.
- People you saved and their birth details, and all charts, daily readings and compatibility results calculated for you or them.
- Points, point history, unlocks, share links you created, and install-referral records.
- Your subscription record with us (store transaction IDs, status and dates) and settings such as time-zone preferences.
What is kept, and for how long
- Deletion takes effect immediately in the app. Data is then permanently erased from our database within 30 days, and from rotating backups within a further 30 days.
- Ad and subscription event logs that no longer identify you (the link to your account is removed) may be kept for up to 14 months for fraud prevention and accounting.
- Information we must keep to comply with law (for example, tax or dispute records) is kept only as long as the law requires.
- Google Play and the Apple App Store keep their own records of purchases under their own privacy policies. Google AdMob keeps ad data under Google's privacy policy.
Delete only some data
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. In the app you can edit or delete saved people and edit your own birth details at any time. You can also email [email protected] to ask us to delete specific data, such as your point history or share links, while keeping your account.
